New edition, new show, new venue!
In 2019, the 7th edition of the celebrated show will take place on March 8, at Bellagio Resort & Casino, Las Vegas under the direction of a bold and dynamic duo, André Kasten & Leah Moyer. While performing together in several Cirque du Soleil shows, and assisting in the choreography for One Night for One Drop 2014 and 2015, they went on to direct and choreograph Franco Dragone’s The Dai Show in China. They also assisted in the refresh of two long-standing world-renowned Cirque du Soleil shows in Las Vegas, Mystère and The Beatles LOVE.
“ With nearly 9,500 performances and over 16 million visitors, we cannot be more honored and excited to bring our vision to life in this legendary theater on this famous stage ”
André and Leah
About One Drop
One DropTM is an international foundation created by Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté with the vision of a better world, where all have access to living conditions that allow empowerment and development. Our mission is to ensure sustainable access to safe water and sanitation for the most vulnerable communities through innovative partnerships, creativity and the power of art.
A portion of the proceeds go towards local Las Vegas water initiatives
In the past years, One Drop has partnered with the Las Vegas Springs Preserve by donating $1.25M to develop the WaterWorks exhibit.
As a means of continuing this commitment to the local community, One Drop has created partnerships with other like-minded organizations — including Desert Research Institute, WaterStart, and the DISCOVERY Children’s Museum — to further our mission of educating local communities about access to safe water and ongoing water innovations.
Focus On The Projects
Our founder Guy Laliberté’s financial commitment covers all administrative costs, which allows One Drop to allot 100% of the funds generated by the fundraising events and partnerships to our projects.
Impact At Scale
Working in collaboration with executing partners, local governments, development banks and agencies, and other stakeholders enables One Drop to leverage its impact and multiply each donation.
Behaviour change is now recognized as the missing link in sustainability. Through our unique Social Art for Behaviour Change approach, One Drop inspires, activates, and sustains the practice of healthy behaviours around water, sanitation, and hygiene.
